Her Care. Her Power. Our Purpose.

EmpowerHer Health Collective was born from the belief that no woman should lose her life giving life, and no child should be denied care simply because resources are scarce.

We stand with the midwives, nurses, and caregivers who show up every day in under-resourced clinics, doing everything they can with whatever they have. We stand with the mothers who walk miles for care, and the newborns who enter the world needing her to be nourished, healthy and safe.

We are here to lift her up. To show extraordinary kindness. To offer loving care. To empower her.

We partner with community clinics that know their people best. We listen first, act second, and center every decision on what leads to the most compassionate, effective care on the ground.

This is not simply charity.
This is shared humanity.

We believe that when you empower a woman’s health, you change everything- her family, her community, and future generations.

We are here for them.
We are here with you.
Together, we are EmpowerHer Health Collective

Our Story

Emily began her work in Uganda in 2012 and spent extended time there in 2013 supporting children in need. Her friends Kate and Sean were early supporters, helping provide sports equipment, school fees, and medical care. After Emily co-founded Grace Care Medical Center with Ugandan nurse Eron, they looked for ways to expand the impact. In 2025, Emily, Kate, and Sean founded EmpowerHer Health Collective to grow the mission and involve others.

Step in where help is needed most

Help Us Build a Clinic Kitchen

A small onsite kitchen would provide daily meals for staff and offer a nutritious meal to patients who have nothing to eat while admitted for treatment.

For just $120 in startup costs and about $120–$140 per month to maintain, this kitchen will bring comfort, care, and nourishment to any hungry person within the clinic walls.
